Seaside represents a new generation of web frameworks: It makes web development simple and fun. Using advanced features of Squeak, Seaside is able to provide easy to use abstractions for true agile development. Last year at 21C3 we have had a general introduction to Squeak and the project around it. This talk will give a more in-depth account of how to use Squeak and the Seaside Framwork for advanced web development. Seaside represents a new generation of web frameworks: It makes web development simple and fun. Using advanced features of Squeak, Seaside is able to abstract the underlaying request-response model of HTTP, making development of web applications very much like that of any other GUI application.
